The Story
It all started in autumn 2016 when three passionate individuals who met in a conference room in San Diego ended up talking about TRUST. We shared a common feeling of frustration as we haven’t seen any product addressing the complexity of this topic. A product that is backed up with validated research and accessible in a virtual delivery.
Six months later, in February 2017, our curriculum and trust framework was theoretically designed after we had consulted with leadership development experts and carefully examined over 30 peer-reviewed publications.

In August 2017, in Stockholm, Sweden, we facilitated 8 pilot workshops that involved 150 leaders from different companies. During the workshops we delivered our learning experience and participants also took our assessments on the subject. Curriculum content and activities were iteratively refined from participants’ feedback.
During 2018 we launched an additional three studies involving 3,125 total participants. These 3 studies enabled us to produce the 33-item TrustScore assessment that was then launched in San Diego, California with a group of leaders across various industries and once again refined from participants’ feedback.

In 2019 our TrustScore assessment was completed by 3 organizations in Sweden, and data was collected from 1,642 respondents.
This data was used to generate norms and cut scores for the creation of the Trust Score report.
During 2020 we further developed our online capacity with visual material and resources to support a 100% virtual delivery.
During the pandemic this was launched in multiple international organizations in Sweden.
It took us five years, but today we are proud to be living our dream having established:
TRUST – at the other end of complexity
A rigorous and validated framework to measure and develop both head- and heart trust
A 100% virtual and digital format

Mattias Dahlgren
Founder & CEO Great Leaders
My personal mantra is ”Live as you will die tomorrow – learn as you never will die”.
Since 2006 I have dedicated my life to my passion - developing Great Leadership in companies around the world. In 2007 it became clear to me that my mission was to enable more people to experience and share the power of Great Leadership. And so, Great Leaders was born.
After training leaders and executives in some of Sweden’s most prolific unicorns, I realized how important it was to have managers that foster a culture of trust and learning and in turn, enabling strong self leadership at all levels.

Back in 2017, in close cooperation with our pioneer clients, we began developing a rigorous and validated framework that empowers organizations and leaders to communicate and build a culture of trust.
